Despite studying a degree in the subject, photography is something which I have only returned to relatively recently. This section is still very much under-populated so please come back from time to time as it will be added to regularly.

The British Abroad - college project

These are a series of photographs taken on a college field trip to Malta sometime in the mid to late-eighties. I remember being amused my the way the (obviously) British tourists chose to dress and generally present themselves in the unfamiliar and novel environment of a sunny and hot Mediterranean country. A few managed to pull it off with a degree of panache, others were less successful.

Thanks to all depicted for allowing themselves to be stopped and photographed by an equally inappropriately dressed (think Robert Smith) photography student.
