SHOW, 2002
The piece was constructed in the sculpture studio. When
it was moved into the gallery space I began the installation
process. I worked the electric cables along the floor
and up the walls where I created patterns with household
nails recalling the hobby/craft of 'string pictures'.
I wanted to produce the neurotic effect of compulsive
behaviour to convey the actions of an extremely controlled
thought process lost in a futile task.
